Funded Trader Program – Funding Talent
You may have noticed a theme in our latest blog posts about funded trader programs. This is because these are a very popular option for new and experienced traders. This blog is about the funded trader program – Funding Talent.
What is Funding Talent?
Funding Talent is a specific type of funding program for retail currency traders (forex traders). They actively scout trading talent by allowing traders to show them first hand what returns they are capable of achieving.
Their overarching goal is to give traders the opportunity to trade with substantial capital, while also seeking out profitable traders to join their community and help grow their company. It’s set up to be a win-win for everyone involved.
Here’s a quick snapshot at Funding Talent and then we’ll delve into the details.
There are a few funded programs out there for traders who are looking to trade with bigger capital, but what makes Funded Talent different?
Here is a snippet from their website outlining how they stand out amongst others:
As you can see, there is no challenge, no profit targets, compounded returns, faster payouts, elite education and a leaderboard.
The fact that there is no challenge is an aspect that does differentiate them from other funded trader programs like FTMO. The bonus of this is that you can start trading with a real account right away. The negative is that a trader could be unprepared and over-eager and may blow an account right out of the gate.
So far this looks very appealing, now let’s look at some FAQs.
Funding Talent FAQs

Funding Talent Account Options
Funding Talent has two account size options (not including accounts for aggressive traders).
25 K Account
25K Account Details & Rules:
- Daily Loss: Max daily loss (or drawdown including floating profits/losses) of $1250 on your account, and a max OVERALL loss (or drawdown including floating profits/losses) of $2500 on your account. This is strictly monitored and your account will be suspended if the max losses are broken.
- Aggressive 25K Account Daily Loss: Max daily loss (or drawdown including floating profit/losses) of $2500. There is no overall loss for aggressive fund members.
- Consistency: Funding Talent members should display consistent risk throughout their trading month. Funding Talent does not limit your risk, leverage, or lot size. For this reason, traders are expected to use consistent risk throughout their trading month. This applies for all account sizes.
- Traders should use consistent risk each day (within reason – no drastic increases).
- Traders should use a consistent trading style throughout their trading month. You may also choose to use multiple styles, but if so this would also need to be consistent throughout the month.
- Traders must continue trading even if their account has experienced unrealized profit. This means that you are not allowed to abruptly stop trading once you are into profit (even if you do hit the 12 day minimum). This is viewed as inappropriate trading behaviour.
- If inconsistency is found, traders still receive your Talent Bonus, however is it added to your live account earnings instead of being paid out cash. They penalize traders for this, they just need more time to assess your trading skill.
- Aggressive Account – There are no consistency parameters when trading the aggressive fund option.
- Fee: There is a $75 monthly fee due at the end of each trading month to keep your account open and membership valid.
100 K Account
100K Account Details & Rules:
- Daily Loss: Max daily loss (or drawdown including floating profits/losses) of $5000 on your account, and a max OVERALL loss (or drawdown including floating profits/losses) of $10,000 on your account.
- Aggressive 25K Account Daily Loss: You will have a max daily loss (or drawdown including floating profit/losses) of $10,000. There is no overall loss for aggressive fund members.
- Consistency: Consistency requirements are the same as the 25K account.
- Fee: There is a $250 monthly fee due at the end of each trading month to keep your account open and membership valid.
Trading Days:
You must enter at least one trade per day for 12 days out of each month. For example, from January 1st – 31st, you must enter a new trade on at least 12 separate days. Trading days do not need to be consecutive and there is no maximum amount of trades, as long as you do not exceed your risk. If the 12 day trading minimum is not met you will not be dispersed any profits at the end of your trading cycle and your account will also be reset to the starting balance.
Your account will not be reset to the starting balance if you were not in profit at the end of the trading cycle. Only executed trades count towards your trading days.
